- Antares DLR-H2 is the world's first manned aircraft using hydrogen as the fuel and without any hybrid assist.
- The Antares DLR-H2 can take off and land on its own.
- The Antares DLR-H2 has a maximum flying speed of 102mph with a range of 450 miles. The fuel cell is fitted below the left side wing and the hydrogen fuel tank is fitted below the right wing of the aircraft.
- The days are not far off that the small airplanes will takeoff and land on its own using hydrogen fuel cells.
